Question

because my mum doesnt know if u can or not and i think u can cuz i have read it somewhere in a magazine.

Answer

Tampons can be worn while swimming, but so can other things like some types of pads like cloth pads, period belts or padded panties, you can also use sponges, softcups or menstrual cups. brbrMenstrual cups are actually much better than tampons as they are safer and cleaner, they are inserted into your vagina like a tampon but they can be left in for up to hours safely and without leaking, they are better for swimming because they dont absorb pool water which can be uncomfortable, increase cramping caused by tampons further and cause leaking if you use tampons you need to change before and after swimming to avoid leaking. brbrhttpwww.divacup.coma Example of menstrual cupbrhttpwww.softcups.coma Example of softcupsbrhttpwww.lunapads.coma Example of cloth padsbrhttpwww.reddyspads.coma Example of period beltsbrhttpwww.lunapads.comdepartment.aspx?a Example of padded pantiesbrhttpwww.jadeandpearl.coma Example of spongesbrbrHey, your mum doesnt know but then neither do you, a lot of women dont know much about menstrual options because the way our society makes women feel about that area of their body means they get embarrassed so dont talk about it and it doesnt occur to them to learn more themselves.
